Baseball Recap: University Bulldogs vs. Resurrection Christian Cougars
If University was riding high off their 10-0 takedown of Sterling last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The University Bulldogs fell just short of the Resurrection Christian Cougars by a score of 8-6 on Saturday. University's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2. As for Resurrection Christian, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.
University will take on Manitou Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Resurrection Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Eaton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eaton will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Resurrection Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
