Soccer Game Preview: Hunters Lane vs. Lawson

The Hunters Lane Warriors will square off against the Lawson Lightning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

On Friday, Hunters Lane got the win against Northeast by a conclusive 4-1. Hunters Lane might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lawson). They never let White House get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Thursday. Nelson Carcamo Amaya was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for Hunters Lane and bumps their season record up to 10-4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two contests. As for Lawson, their win bumped their record up to 6-10-1.

Hunters Lane beat Lawson by a goal in their previous meeting back in March, winning 4-3. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Lightning have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
