Basketball Recap: Metro Tech Takes a Loss

Metro Tech lost against Moon Valley back in January of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Metro Tech Knights'2024 ended with a 43-28 defeat against the Moon Valley Rockets. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moon Valley found their leader in freshman Aniston Pattershall, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pattershall has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kamariana Shaw, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and six steals.

Metro Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Moon Valley, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Metro Tech will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025. Moon Valley also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Thunderbird at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
