Basketball Recap: North Cobb Takes a Loss

North Cobb lost against Walton back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Cobb Warriors were dealt a 75-36 defeat at the hands of the Walton Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Raiders are ranked sixth).

North Cobb's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Walton, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

North Cobb will welcome Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cherokee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Walton, they will challenge Pickens at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
