Softball Recap: Lamar Silver Fox vs. Crestwood Knights

Lamar proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 11) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Crestwood Knights 8-7. The victory was nothing new for the Silver Fox as they're now sitting on four straight.

Isabella Hayes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two RBI and one double.
