Basketball Recap: Mounds Park Academy Takes a Loss

Mounds Park Academy lost against St. Croix Prep back in February of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mounds Park Academy Panthers were dealt an 80-45 loss at the hands of the St. Croix Prep Lions. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mounds Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for St. Croix Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mounds Park Academy Panthers duke it out with the Christ's Household of Faith Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mounds Park Academy is facing Christ's Household of Faith at the right time seeing as Christ's Household of Faith is stuck on a four-game losing streak. St. Croix Prep will take on Legacy Christian Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Legacy Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully St. Croix Prep likes a good challenge.
