Cinnaminson extends home winning streak to nine

Recap: Cinnaminson Pirates vs. Penns Grove Red Devils

The Cinnaminson Pirates had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They put the hurt on Penns Grove with a sharp 65-44 win. Cinnaminson has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Penns Grove lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Giomar Conrad, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Willie Slocum, who scored nine points.

Cinnaminson's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Penns Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Cinnaminson will play host again and welcome KIPP Cooper Norcross, where tip off is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Penns Grove, they will head out on the road to face off against Clearview at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
