Soccer Game Preview: Berkshire vs. Cuyahoga Heights

The Berkshire Badgers will take on the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Berkshire is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Fuchs Mizrachi an 18-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Berkshire as it put an end to their seven-match losing streak.

Their offense was hitting Fuchs Mizrachi from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Nathan Benson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for eight goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Heights gave up the first goal on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Wickliffe.

Cuyahoga Heights' win bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Berkshire, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

Berkshire beat Cuyahoga Heights by a goal when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Badgers repeat their success, or do the Red Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
