Volleyball Recap: Williams Takes a Loss

Williams lost against Southeast Alamance back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stallions. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-18, 23-25, 25-14.

Leading Southeast Alamance to victory were Gracyn Lee and Sophia Carney. Lee had nine digs and five aces, while Carney had 14 digs and two assists. The dominant performance also gave Lee a new career-high in assists (five).

Williams now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Southeast Alamance, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams will face off against Rockingham County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southeast Alamance, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cummings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
