Basketball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater lost against Lake Mills last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Whitewater Whippets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 49-31 to the Lake Mills L-Cats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Whippets' loss continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Whitewater's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Lake Mills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-13.

Whitewater has already played their next game (against Cambridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lake Mills will head out to face off against Lakeside Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeside Lutheran is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.4 points per game this season.
