Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Brecksville-Broadview Heights' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 69-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Royalton.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights' loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Stow-Munroe Falls didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Brecksville-Broadview Heights in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 74-70 victory.
