Basketball Recap: Parsons Comes Up Short

After flying high against Baxter Springs last Saturday, Parsons came back down to earth. The Parsons Vikings came up short against the Pittsburg Dragons on Tuesday, falling 54-29. The Vikings have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Parsons' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Pittsburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parsons will welcome Chanute at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pittsburg, they will look to defend their home court on February 4th against Ottawa.
