Softball Recap: Colonel Crawford Takes a Loss

Colonel Crawford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Bucyrus Redmen, falling 12-6. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Redmen earlier this season, when they won 20-3.

Olivia Friley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Saylor Holt, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI.

Colonel Crawford's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Bucyrus, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-13.

As of now, neither Colonel Crawford nor the Redmen have any future games scheduled.
