Baseball Recap: John Champe Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

John Champe made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lightridge, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights put the hurt on the Bolts with a sharp 11-1 win on Thursday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Elijah Marshall looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kellan Reavill, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Guy Jackson, who scored two runs and stole a base.
