Holy Savior Menard's last matchup with North DeSoto could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Griffins, falling 9-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Griffins: they've now lost six in a row.

Holy Savior Menard's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North DeSoto, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Savior Menard will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Oak Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
