Volleyball Recap: Hialeah Comes Up Short

Hialeah had lost five straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 5-11 to make it six. They came up short against the Mater Academy Charter Lions, falling 3-0. The Thoroughbreds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

As for Mater Academy Charter, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hialeah will host Miami Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mater Academy Charter, they will face off against Somerset Academy Central Miramar at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
