Baseball Recap: Shadle Park Highlanders vs. Lewis & Clark Tigers
Shadle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lewis & Clark Tigers, falling 12-5. The Highlanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.
Evan Lafferty made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
Shadle Park now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lewis & Clark, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
