Basketball Recap: Lily Thoene Key Part of a Team Effort in Huskies Win

Marsing hadn't done well against Nampa Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Marsing Huskies managed a 30-26 victory over the Nampa Christian Trojans. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 39-28 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Marsing's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Thoene, who posted eight points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Adyson Chadez, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.
