Soccer Game Preview: Doane Academy vs. Maple Shade

Doane Academy will venture away from home to challenge the Maple Shade Wildcats at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Doane Academy's offense. They lost 4-0 to King's Christian on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Maple Shade made sure to put some goals up on the board against Medford Tech on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 5-1 victory. Considering Maple Shade's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Doane Academy couldn't quite get it done against Maple Shade when the teams last played back in September of 2017 as they fell 3-1. Can Doane Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
