Basketball Game Preview: Asheville Cougars vs. McDowell Titans + How To Watch

Asheville hasn't had much luck against McDowell recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cougars will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Titans at 8:00 p.m.

Asheville is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They were beaten by Dobyns-Bennett 109-30 on Tuesday. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 62-22.

Asheville's defeat came about despite a quality game from Ford Daniels, who posted ten points and six boards.

Meanwhile, McDowell took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They put the hurt on Erwin with a sharp 70-44 win.

McDowell's win came from a few key players Asheville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jay Radford, who earned 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Boone, who scored 14 points.
