Football Game Recap: Sandusky Central Catholic vs. Lakota

If Sandusky Central Catholic were expecting to get some payback for the 7-28 defeat against Lakota the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. On Friday, Sandusky Central Catholic and Lakota were almost perfectly matched up, but Sandusky Central Catholic suffered an agonizing 35-36 defeat. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team. The match brought Lakota to 3-2 and dropped Sandusky Central Catholic to a mirror-image 2-3.

Next week Sandusky Central Catholic take on Willard at 7:00 PM. The teams have set a high bar for this contest after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests. Lakota will be staying on the road, facing off against Gibsonburg. The two teams each escaped (but just barely !) with wins against their previous opponents.
