Saranac Lake's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lake Placid Bombers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Red Storm haven't had any issues with the Bombers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Saranac Lake never let Lake Placid on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-22.

Kasey Clark paced Saranac Lake's offense, picking up seven kills. Clark got some help from Sophie Czadzeck and her 25 assists. Sophia McBride and Addy Foster kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with eight aces apiece.

Lake Placid's loss came despite strong showings from Ellie Shipman and Brooke Meyer. Shipman had eight digs and five kills, while Meyer had eight digs, six kills, and two aces. Meyer is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season.

Saranac Lake's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lake Placid, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Saranac Lake has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Peru on the 2nd. As for Lake Placid, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Northern Adirondack on the 2nd.
