Dundy County-Stratton won the last time they faced Sutherland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Dundy County-Stratton Tigers really took it to the Sutherland Sailors for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-29 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 26 points or more this season.

Dundy County-Stratton was led to victory by Ethan Latta and Lane Bybee. Latta went 8 of 11 on his way to 21 points along with five assists and five steals, while Bybee went 9 for 16 en route to 21 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. The game was Bybee's third in a row with at least ten points. Braxton Merklin also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Sutherland lost, don't look at Mason Mortimer. Despite the final result, he posted 12 points.

The victory was the third in a row for Dundy County-Stratton, bringing their record for this year to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Sutherland, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers face off against the Wallace Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dundy County-Stratton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Wallace likes a good challenge. As for Sutherland, they will be taking part in a tournament against Maxwell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
