Basketball Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Turner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the New Glarus Glarner Knights.

Turner's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for New Glarus, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Turner and DeForest will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. As for New Glarus, they will take on Brodhead at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. New Glarus knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Brodhead likes a good challenge.
