Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Prep Gets the Win

The St. Mary's Prep Eaglets were able to grind out a solid win over the Central Catholic Fighting Irish on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eaglets.

St. Mary's Prep can attribute much of their success to Zoey Kapeller, who had 11 digs and two assists. Those 11 digs gave Kapeller a new career-high.

St. Mary's Prep's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Central Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, St. Mary's Prep and Central Catholic will both be playing Croswell-Lexington the next time they take the court. The Eaglets will head out to face the Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Fighting Irish will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
