While North Adams's victory against Western Brown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Green Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Broncos on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Green Devils have posted since August 19, 2024.

North Adams took Western Brown into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-11, 25-15, 18-25, 15-11.

North Adams can attribute much of their success to Addison Shupert, who had 14 digs and four aces.

Shupert wasn't the only good server: North Adams was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in five consecutive games.

North Adams has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Western Brown, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9.

Looking ahead, North Adams will head out to square off against Fayetteville-Perry at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Western Brown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
