Softball Recap: Gladewater Comes Up Short

Gladewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Overton Mustangs.

Gladewater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Childress, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Gladewater's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Gladewater didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-3 loss against Como-Pickton on the 13th. As for Overton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Sabine on the 12th.
