Basketball Recap: Glenpool Takes a Loss

Glenpool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wilson-Henryetta Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Tigers are ranked 110th).

Glenpool's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Wilson-Henryetta, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenpool has already played their next game (against Harding Fine Arts), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wilson-Henryetta will challenge Mason at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
