Basketball Game Preview: West Shore Wildcats vs. Sebastian River Sharks

The West Shore Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Sebastian River Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

West Shore's tournament run continued when they took on Palm Bay on Friday. West Shore fell 57-50 to Palm Bay. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Sebastian River had just enough and edged John Carroll Catholic out 52-49 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Sebastian River has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for West Shore, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

West Shore took a serious blow against Sebastian River in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 60-25. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Sebastian River's Andrew Simpson, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 21 points and five steals.
