Football Recap: Anacortes Seahawks vs. Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anacortes). They claimed a resounding 77-0 win over the Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won seven contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Brady Beaner had a dynamite game for Anacortes, throwing for 290 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Zeke Hawkins was another key player, picking up 109 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Anacortes wouldn't let Marysville-Pilchuck keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Jayden Soltero was the leader in that area as all came courtesy of his dominant performance.
The victory (which was Anacortes' third in a row) raised their record to 8-1. As for Marysville-Pilchuck, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
