Softball Game Preview: Stuart W. Cramer Storm vs. Palisades Pumas

The Stuart W. Cramer Storm will head out on the road to square off against the Palisades Pumas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Stuart W. Cramer is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Stuart W. Cramer came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Forestview by a score of 6-4 on Thursday.

Stuart W. Cramer saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Martin, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Those two hits gave Martin a new career-high. Megan Merritt also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Palisades was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 12-2 to Porter Ridge.

Mariah Rushin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Palisades has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. Stuart W. Cramer's loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
