On Wednesday, Dunbar faced McKinley Tech in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Dunbar Crimson Tide blew past the McKinley Tech Trainers, posting a 59-30 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crimson Tide also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, McKinley Tech still got an impressive performance from Chiagoziem Njoku, who posted 14 points.
