Basketball Recap: Dixie Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Middletown Christian, Dixie was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-37 victory over the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Greyhounds as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Stivers School for the Arts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Dixie will be playing at home against Tri-County North at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-County North will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Dixie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stivers School for the Arts, they will venture away from home to face off against Belmont at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Stivers School for the Arts is facing Belmont at the right time seeing as Belmont is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
