Baseball Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Turner blew Milburn out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Milburn got their revenge. The Falcons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Turner's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Milburn, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

Milburn has already played their next contest, a 10-9 defeat against Vanoss on the 29th. Hopefully Turner paid attention to the Eagles' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on September 8.
