Football Recap: Ball Tornadoes vs. Waltrip Rams
With a playoff game on the line, Ball rose to the challenge on Friday. They strolled past the Waltrip Rams with points to spare, taking the game 28-14. The Tornadoes' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
It was another big night for Arentheis Winn, who rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Juwaan Woodbury was another key player, rushing for 127 yards on only six carries.

Ball will venture away from home to challenge A&M Consolidated at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. A&M Consolidated is on a six-game streak of home wins, Ball a ten-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Waltrip does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
