Volleyball Recap: South Pointe Takes a Loss

After flying high against Richland Northeast on Tuesday, South Pointe came back down to earth. The Stallions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Hill Bearcats on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 23-25, 25-12.

South Pointe has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Rock Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-15 record this season.

South Pointe will head out on the road to square off against Northwestern at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Rock Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
