North Providence's win came from a few key players Burrillville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Elyse Brassard, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. What's more, she also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Catherine Nicolo, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
North Providence smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in four consecutive contests.
North Providence pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points per game. As for Burrillville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
