Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Princeton). They never let the Middletown Middies get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their one-run performance the match before.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Middletown, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-18.

Coming up, Princeton will square off against Reading at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games the Blue Devils have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Middletown, they will challenge Oak Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Highlanders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Middies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
