Baseball Recap: Juarez Comes Up Short

Juarez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the South Shore International Tars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-3 on Saturday.

Juarez's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for South Shore International, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Juarez will head out to challenge Phoenix Military at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South Shore International, they will venture away from home to take on Dunbar at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
