Preview: Dodge County Indians vs. Bleckley County Royals
The Dodge County Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bleckley County Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Dodge County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 54-37 win over Central on Saturday.
Dodge County can attribute much of their success to Jaedon Mcclendon, who scored 14 points. Jerimiah Burns was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Meanwhile, Bleckley County took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They put the hurt on Northside with a sharp 75-49 victory.
Dodge County's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Bleckley County, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 1-0.
Dodge County beat Bleckley County 46-35 when the teams last played back in January. Does Dodge County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bleckley County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
