Basketball Recap: De La Salle North Catholic Takes a Loss

De La Salle North Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 58-44 to the Valley Catholic Valiants, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Valiants are ranked 27th).

De La Salle North Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Valley Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

De La Salle North Catholic has already played their next contest (against Portland Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Valley Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-48 win against Oregon Episcopal on the 14th.
