Volleyball Recap: Webster Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Webster, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Frederic Vikings 3-0 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Webster was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-6, 25-11.

Their offense was headlined by Brooke Wolf and Avery Hetfeld, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Abbi Smith and her 13 assists. Dana Jackson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Webster pushed their record up to 29-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Frederic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Webster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Luck on the 16th. As for Frederic, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Three Lakes on the 11th.
