Yerington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Oasis Academy Bighorns 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since April 27, 2024.

Casey Bobrick spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.
