Basketball Recap: Falmouth Falls Short of St. Mary's in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Falmouth can now relate to. They fell 51-42 to the St. Mary's Spartans on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Clippers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Spartans are ranked 23rd).

Falmouth has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 22-2.

As of now, neither Falmouth nor St. Mary's have any future games scheduled.
