Baseball Recap: Palmetto Takes a Loss

Palmetto lost against Belton-Honea Path last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Palmetto took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Belton-Honea Path. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palmetto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Belton-Honea Path, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7.

Looking ahead, Palmetto will welcome Ware Shoals at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ware Shoals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Palmetto's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Belton-Honea Path, they are taking a road trip to take on Christ Church Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
