Abingdon gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers by a score of 3-1. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Cavaliers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 15-25, 25-21.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abingdon will square off against Christiansburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lord Botetourt, they will challenge Cave Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
