Basketball Recap: New Summerfield Takes a Loss

New Summerfield lost against Overton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The New Summerfield Hornets were outmatched by the Overton Mustangs and fell 44-17. The loss leaves the Hornets without a win on the season.

New Summerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Overton, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

New Summerfield and Mt. Enterprise will compete for holiday cheer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Overton, they will be home for the holidays to greet Carlisle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
