Basketball Recap: Harper Comes Up Short

Harper lost against Adrian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Harper Hornets fell to the Adrian Antelopes 56-51.

Harper's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Adrian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harper will square off against Dayville/Monument at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Harper is facing Dayville/Monument at the right time seeing as Dayville/Monument is stuck on a 20-game losing streak. As for Adrian, they will take on Pilot Rock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Adrian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Pilot Rock likes a good challenge.
