Zachary Calabro and Kevin Ahearn secure win for Danvers

Recap: Danvers Falcons vs. Gloucester Fishermen
Even though the Danvers Falcons have not done well against the Gloucester Fishermen recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Danvers walked away with a 57-46 win over Gloucester. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Danvers.
Leading Danvers to victory were Zachary Calabro and Kevin Ahearn. Calabro scored 14 points along with four steals, while Ahearn scored 21 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The game was Ahearn's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Metivier, who scored six points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Danvers now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Gloucester, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Danvers will be home for the holidays to greet Prospect Hill Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for Gloucester, they will head out on the road to face off against Swampscott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
