Volleyball Recap: Champlain Valley Union Takes a Loss

Champlain Valley Union lost against Mt. Mansfield on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Redhawks lost 3-0 to the Cougars.

While Champlain Valley Union was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mt. Mansfield's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-18, 25-23.

Champlain Valley Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mt. Mansfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Champlain Valley Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mt. Mansfield, they will venture away from home to face off against Burlington at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
